People keep authority
Wise Owl supports reasoning and coordination. Consequential decisions, stage approvals, commitments and publication remain human choices.
Checks and attribution
Wise Owl responses are checked automatically before they are shown, and sources are cited with their relevance and limitations where the workflow supports it. Automatic checks are separate from human approval.
Permissions
Wise Owl draws only on material the people involved are permitted to see. Linking or publishing work does not widen access to its sources.
Records
Decision Receipts record the evidence, reasoning and responsibility behind a human-approved decision. They are private by default; only explicitly published outcomes are available for reuse within the organisation.
Limitations
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It should be reviewed by an accountable person before it is relied on.
